Informazioni sull’evento
Following the success of the first and second workshop series by Elisa Zuppini, she will launch a third series of 7 workshops at ICK Dans Amsterdam, in Space for Dance Art.
In this new cycle of We Dance Together, Zuppini invites participants to explore ideas for a new group research project. Following her previous large-ensemble performance, Disambiguation, for 15 dancers, this research continues her investigation into how desire and perception are organised under today’s algorithmic capitalism. Building on this question, and drawing from her practice De.sy.re. (Decentralised Systems of Relations), the workshop will explore ideas around large systems, their collapse, and the body as a site of superposition and ambiguity.
The workshops will take place from 1 September through 19 October 2026.
This series is suitable for all dance enthusiasts from age 15 and up (no maximum age!), regardless of experience. Whether you are an amateur, a (semi-)professional, or simply love to dance, you are welcome to join.
Did you participate in Elisa’s first and/or second series? Then this third series will again be a wonderful addition and a valuable continuation.
Are you excited by the idea of dancing together in a inspiring space? Then come and join us – we look forward to moving with you in Space for Dance Art!
— About the workshop
De.sy.re. (Decentralized Systems of Relation)’ is a movement practice that investigates the body as a self-organizing system without a fixed center, continuously reshaped by subtle micro-signals and internal currents that guide its sensory and spatial responses.
Setting aside the functional hierarchies of traditional anatomy, with the head as the commanding center and a dominant vertical axis, the workshop explores a decentralized neuro-architecture, in which the body responds to multiple, distributed centers both within and beyond its surface.
