"How to" Massage Circle

This beginner-friendly workshop is an invitation to connect — through touch, presence & care.

Joe, a DNA. Member, a licensed massage therapist since 2014, has trained in shiatsu, Swedish massage, medical massage therapy & craniosacral work. His approach is simple: massage is not only a technique, but a generous and conscious way to connect with others.

Touch, when given with intention and respect, becomes a language. A way to listen, to support, and to be present with one another.

In this 60-minute session, You will be guided through the fundamentals of massage in a safe & respectful environment. We begin with a short introduction to intention, consent, communication &boundaries — creating a space where everyone feels comfortable & respected.

You will then practice simple and effective techniques in pairs, with the option to rotate partners and experience different bodies and styles of touch. If You prefer to stay with one partner, You are always welcome to do so.

This is not about perfection — it is about connection, awareness & learning how to give and receive touch with confidence & ease.

FLOW

0–10 min Introduction: intention, boundaries, communication & safety

10–15 min Live demonstration in the center

15–55 min Guided partner practice (with optional rotation) Individual feedback and support throughout

55–60 min Closing circle, questions & integration

WHAT YOU NEED

• •a towel
• •wear comfortable clothing (tank top / T-shirt)
• •minimal jewelry (recommended)
