    Sobre el evento

Autumn asks you to let go. But your body might not agree.

Your mind can decide to move on in a second. Your body takes longer, and holds on long after you've made peace with something in your head.

That gap between wanting to let go and actually feeling free is your nervous system doing its job.

On Thursday September 17th, join Rachael Karamat, founder of Personal Change Lab, for an evening about emotions, the body and craniosacral therapy.

Rachael opens with a short talk about emotions, the body and craniosacral therapy: what it is, and how your body holds and releases emotion.

    Then you practice in pairs.

You close your eyes and go into a guided visualization. The person you choose to pair up with places one hand where you point them, nothing more. They stay close and quiet, just there.

You feel what it is like to be truly seen while you let go.

Then you switch. Now you hold space for the person next to you instead. You watch them move through their own process, steady and quiet, just there for them.

You feel what it is like to hold someone else's release.

Both roles teach you something. Letting go is easier when you are not doing it alone.
