Join us for an evening of languages, laughter, and karaoke!

Every second Friday at Lloyd's Pub in Hønefoss, we gather to practice languages, make new friends, and have genuine conversations—with a musical twist!

Whether you're learning Norwegian, English, Italian, French, or any other language, this is your space. No textbooks. No tests. Just real people, real conversations, and now... real karaoke!

What to Expect

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Language Exchange & Networking

Event Guidelines

Some guidelines for a delightful experience:

• •✅ You are asked to order a drink directly upon arrival to participate (Mandatory)
• •❌ Outside food and drinks are not allowed
• •🧹 Please respect the venue's staff and make sure to leave the place clean and tidy before you leave
• •🤝 Be polite and respectful. Please kindly note that venue staff or our organizers will ban you from our events and community without any warning if you don't respect it
• •📸 By attending, you consent to being photographed for social media (let us know if you prefer not to be in photos)

How It Works

We use a mingle setup - no designated language tables or areas. This encourages natural conversations and genuine connections!

Languages typically spoken: Norwegian, English, Italian, French, and whatever languages participants bring!

First time? Don't worry! Our organizer will introduce you to others and help you feel comfortable. Most people come alone and leave with new friends.

Shy or introverted? That's okay! Come at your own pace. Even listening and observing is a great way to start.

Age Requirement: 18+ (pub venue)

What to Bring: Just yourself and an open mind! Optional: business cards if you want to network professionally.

Dress Code: Casual - come as you are!
